Our homeschool program offers a fun way to get your PE credit. During the course of the lessons we will be teaching the basics of surfing from how to stand up and control the surfboard as well as wave selection and etiquette. We will also be covering safety and how to read the ocean. If your surfer is more advanced don’t worry we are great at catering to individual needs. Surfboards are provided but if you prefer to bring your own that’s not a problem.
Sessions will be one hour long and are offered on Fridays at 10am and 11am time slots. We have two different options for classes.

Disclaimer: Safety is our number one priority, so we will only cancel Surf School if the surf or weather conditions are unsafe for lessons. Which means if it is only raining (as in no lightning or thunder), we will still surf. However, if we deem that any unsafe weather conditions move in, we will either cancel your surf lesson ahead of time, or during, and allow you to make up the missed class.

Complete Waiver:

I agree to assume all risks incidental to participation in surfing, water sports, and related activities associated with Space Coast Surf LLC henceforth referred to as SCS. I hereby grant permission for myself or my child to attend the SCS. I hereby release SCS from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, and/or expense arising from or in any way connected with my participation in all surf school related activities conducted by SCS. I hereby agree that SCS, employees, and affiliates, are not responsible or liable for any injuries or damages resulting from my participation in any SCS activities. I understand and acknowledge that surfing and other water sports and related activities are inherently dangerous activities. I acknowledge and assume any and all risks associated with the presence of any and all sea life that may be in the water or on the beach. I assume the entire responsibility of the performance of the activities associated with this agreement. I further expressly agree to indemnify and hold harmless, SCS for any and all claims for injury to persons or damage to property or any other damages or losses by anyone, all of the foregoing to include all expenses and charges including attorney's fees, which may arise out of, or in connection with, the activities associated with this agreement or which are alleged to have arisen out of activity associated with this agreement. Right To Photograph: By signing this agreement I hereby give my consent and approval to the SCS, that they shall have the rights, without obtaining my further approval to photograph, take motion pictures of, televise, or reproduce in any manner or through any media, images of myself, my child, and my legal guardians. SCS, and their affiliates shall have the right to display, use, sell or license any such pictures or other reproductions for any purposes commercial or otherwise without monetary compensation to myself, my child or my legal guardian. I hereby authorize any SCS personnel to conduct any minor Medical First Aid that may be required for my child or myself. I hereby authorize any Physician or Nurses selected by SCS personnel to order and conduct medical or surgical procedures deemed necessary for myself or my child in an emergency situation. I understand that I will be responsible for all Hospital, Laboratory, and Doctor Fees I verify that I am in good health and am fully capable of participating in any and all strenuous activities associated with any SCS activities. I fully understand that each participant must be a competent swimmer and acknowledge that I am a competent swimmer. I also hereby agree that by signing this form that all parts of the Registration and Indemnity Agreement are valid and binding from the date of signature to any and all future dates in which I participate in any and all activities at the Space Coast Surf LLC. I also agree to pay for any and all services in full by the end of the lesson(s). *

YOU ARE AGREEING THAT, EVEN IF SPACE COAST SURF LLC USES REASONABLE CARE IN PROVIDING THIS ACTIVITY, THERE IS A CHANCE YOUR CHILD MAY BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY BECAUSE THERE ARE CERTAIN DANGERS INHERENT IN THE ACTIVITY WHICH CANNOT BE AVOIDED OR ELIMINATED. BY SIGNING THIS FORM YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR CHILD'S RIGHT AND YOUR RIGHT TO RECOVER FROM SPACE COAST SURF LLC AND ANY ALL OF THEIR AFFILIATES IN A LAWSUIT FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, TO YOUR CHILD OR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE THAT RESULTS FROM THE RISKS THAT ARE A NATURAL PART OF THE ACTIVITY. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO SIGN THIS FORM, AND THE SPACE COAST SURF LLC HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO LET YOUR CHILD PARTICIPATE IF YOU DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM.
